Love the look, and quality of it. The only things I can complain about is that the ambi bolt catch internal pin doesn’t seem to be longer enough, the ambi bolt catch lever it comes with seems to be a little flimsy, and the cerakote made the tolerances for the take down pins way too tight.

Regarding the pass-thru Pin from the Ambi Lever, we would be quite certain that it is built to design length to +/-0.000″ because it’s made on a Swiss-screw machine. We would suspect more that the Bolt Catch itself is either off position on its hole, or our Pin hole for that is off position – or it could be a combination of the two that when combined is not good. The Ambi Lever should not be floppy because we have the system designed to be tight – much like the TD pin holes. ( ;
And on the TD Pin holes, we want those to be tight after coating. They will loosen with use, but they won’t EVER be floppy and give you a “wobble” between your Upper and Lower. We hate Wobble, and we aren’t going to compensate for weak machining tolerances with an “Upper tensioning screw” – which is what everyone else does. These are matched Sets, and they shouldn’t need a tension screw.
